Christmas bells are ringing!!

So I am not the best at keeping up with my postings,
but I am going to give myself a pass as I finish up my FINAL week of pregnancy! That's right, I am in my 39th week and anxiously awaiting the birth of my son. EEK!

I still got to get my Christmas craft on, so wanted to encourage yall to head over to the shop for all kinds of goodies - tags, cards, sets and more!

Lots of Christmas love and blessings <3

Back in Action

Alathea Papergoods is back in action, after a site move (phew!) and one uncomfortable pregnant lady on the mend.
As I enter my 8th month, I have gotten back my crafting bug and sometimes, ability. Sooooo, new items - including CHRISTMAS (swooooon!) are being added to the shop daily.
A new CLEARANCE & SALE section has also been added, with goodies reduced and half priced! Check it out and grab them while you can.

Many apologies for the blog neglect, but here's hoping for a strong and healthy return (at least until our son is born!) :o)

Blessings, Sara

Long time, no stamp.

A much needed update, as we close shop temporarily as we move crafting locations (my home!) :o)

So sorry for the lack of posts, updates and new products over the past few months. In April my right hand thumb LOCKED and I was forced to take a break from crafting my cards. :o(
At this same time, my hubby and I found out we were PREGNANT with our first! <3 Turns out, the thumb/joint locking is most likely pregnancy related (go figure?!).

So after getting through a rough first tri-mester I am happy to say we are now almost at the halfway mark (20 weeks!) and my thumb is slightly better off. One cortizone shot later I can at least move it. We are now moving homes, so posts and products will continue to be slow... but I hope to change this sometime mid or late August as we settle in.

Mother's Day approaches...

Though my card making may slow down, I can still post some of the current Mother's Day goodies in the shop:

Singles, pairs, gift tags??? Does she have a favorite verse??? I probably have a card (or at least the stamp) to match!

Splinted.

Things may slow down slightly in my blog... but maybe (hoping) not?

Had to get a splint on my writing hand thumb today - and have to keep it on for the next MONTH!. Beter than it getting stuck, hurting and swelling. Not too excited abt trying to craft this way but I am sure I will figure out a way (MUST keep crafting!!) :o)

Already figuring out a way to type quickly... weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Hope you enjoyed this special day...
Happy Easter!

Heads up.

Hey all! I have recently added NON-scripture items to the shop, including cards, stickers and gift tags! Upon opening I had only scripture and faith based products, but have gotten many requests to expand outside of the Christian genre. I happily obliged with new goodies that I wanted to share with yall, just in case you didn't see the little announcement in my shop or on facebook.

Here's a lil peek of just SOME posted:

Lots more at the shop! Feel free to stop in and BROWSE <3

Loved.

Is there anything better than coming home to fresh flowers from your hubby?
All ready and waiting for you as you walk into the room??

I think not.

Sunshine and Card Pairs!

The sun is back! And this makes me want to craft, post and do a host of other things. Among many, I am going to bring in my *new* (ahem, garage sale) bike that I posted about the other day into a local bike shop for a seat adjustment (I'm too short) and a lookover for safety purposes. Simple pleasures :o)

I want to post some of my latest (and greatest?) - card pairs!
In the beginning of Alathea Papergoods I posted lots of card sets, and while I still have some left I have begun to post singles and pairs. While singles are always great for the right occasion, I think pairs are a great way to make sure you have a card on hand for whatever occasion pops up (that you forgot???). AND no worries when one is used, bc you have a back up!

Check out a few that are currently for sale in my shop:

(Most of the singles can be ordered as pairs too... hint, hint)

Hope you all enjoy the sunshine and this little peek into my shop!

Garage saling update...

I just HAD to followup my first post to brag on my first garage sale of the spring season finds!

At the VERY first place my friend Liz and I stopped, I got a bike for $10 (WOOT!) aaaaaaaaaaand a paper cutter (with all the measurements and card sizes lined up). Needless to say I was SUPER psyched for the rest of day.

I got some more treasures, but perhaps most fun was my antique chairs find. I found these at the sweetest old mans home... for - wait for it - $5 EACH! They are from the mid 1920's, are deliciously comfortable and in perfect condition!

I still haven't decided if I can make them fit with the rest of my apartments decor, but I HAD TO bring them home with me. The wood and leather details were just too amazing not to try and fit in somewhere...

Well, hope to post new items to be added this week in the shop soon. Also in process if trying to join CAST (Christian Artist Street Team) on Etsy! They have a great blog to encourage and share one another's handmade, vintage and/or supply items... so if you are interested in supporting search "castteam" in the Etsy search when looking to purchase your goodies! Also part of the EtsyNJ team! To support other NJers search "etsynj team" on Etsy for loads of handmade from this great state. :o)

New to the blogging world.

Waiting to head out to garage sales... even though it is currently 30 degrees colder than last wkend (?!). Hope to find some goodies for my card making (hey, a girl can wish!)... but I'll also take some great home, jewelry or clothing finds!
Need to begin postings, but wasn't sure where to start. Maybe if I just hit 'publish post' and move beyond the first one I will actually get started??? Here's hoping...
